When a visitor types a name, location, or another term into a search box powered by an outside provider, the query is sent to that provider so it can return results. Morgan County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy terms govern its handling of the submitted query.
Messages Sent to the Site
An email or contact-form message may be retained long enough to read, respond to, and maintain the related correspondence. Message contents are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected During a Visit
Routine server, analytics, and advertising systems can record technical information when a page loads. That information may include:
- The visitor’s internet protocol address.
- The browser name and version.
- The device category and operating system.
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.
- The date and time associated with the request.

Some advertising companies may use their own technologies to follow activity across multiple websites and select targeted ads. That tracking takes place on the advertising provider’s systems, not as a separate search log maintained by Morgan County Released Inmates.
Parties That May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited information may be provided to or processed by:
- Search partners that must receive a query to perform a requested search.

Reasonable Security, Not a Guarantee

Choices Concerning Personal Data
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify the request, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held by the site.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete personal information that the site is permitted to erase.
- Opt out of certain processing where that choice is available.
Changes to This Privacy Notice
This policy may be revised as site practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. A revised notice takes effect when it is posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after publication of an update means the visitor accepts the revised policy.
